Launch Complex 39A

The Apollo and Shuttle pad, held by SpaceX under a 20 year agreement with NASA signed on 14 April 2014 [NASA39AL] and flying Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy. The Federal Aviation Administration published the final environmental impact statement and record of decision for Starship-Super Heavy at the complex in February 2026, authorizing up to 44 launches and 44 landings a year; a record of decision supports a license decision and is not itself a license to fly [FAA39A][FR39A][NSFSS].
